"Everything is excellent except our room does not have a switch to turn off the air conditioner. Others rooms have it though"

"Wonderful place to stay! Our room was very large with a table/chairs, sitting area, wood burning stove, and king bed (which was very comfy). It also had a private balcony off the room! Front desk staff was great, the restaurant had delicious food and drink (it was nice eating on the back deck overlooking the mountains), and there was a nice walking trial down to the river. If guests didn't feel like walking back up the big hill they could call the front desk and have the hotel van come and get them. This was also the only hotel we stayed at in Alaska that had recycling bins around the main building and in the rooms. We also enjoyed the jigsaw puzzle in the lobby and spent a few hours working on it."

" We had a great stay at the Hotel Seward. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful and the restaurant on site was absolutely delicious. It was in a perfect area of town and we were able to walk all over. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Our room was dated (furnishing wise) but was very clean with a comfy bed. It had a very small balcony that overlooked the water and mountains which was perfect for watching and photographing sunset! No breakfast but coffee and tea are always available in the front office. "
