"I have stayed at this hotel many times before but not in the last 18 months. Some things have changed. The major change is the amount of construction around the hotel has quadrupled. Construction noise is bearable and takes place between 09.00 to 17.00. The rooms are starting to look a little older. I had room 405 on the street side and had to endure traffic noise most day and night. Cold water only upgraded to lukewarm (best they could do) after complaint. My biggest complaint was the poor wifi...

"Everything about Royal Cliff is absolutely stunning. The views are unbeatable, the pool is beautiful and the service is amazing. My ONE complaint that would prevent me from staying again was the fact that I was moved twice due to a mildew smell in the room and every single room (even the one i stayed in for a week) had this awful STRONG odor of mildew. Everything else was phenomenal but the smell truly was a problem. Staff were kind and helpful but there didn’t seem to be a real solution to this...
