"We spent a restful and eclectic three nights at the Old Court House Inn. Endlessly interesting décor and great historic photos. Their player piano is a marvel and has a mind (no! a spirit!) of its own. Several haunted house tours came through while we were there - all respectful. They helped us to better understand the deep history of the building, and the concentration of energy in the place, which might have explained why I felt shoved off the couch across from Room 3 (ghosts dodging Ghost Tours?). Breakfast was included in our stay. The staff at Edie Rae’s Café were wonderful (don’t forget to tip them…gotta do separately, with the breakfast covered). This is an older building (100+ years) so don’t expect the HVAC to be perfect. Still, we had plentiful hot water. The Inn is located within walking distance of the Royal Zayka restaurant – one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve ever been to. Bravo! We’re uncertain whether we saw/experienced ghosts, but we’ll be back to try again."

"We stayed here on Friday the 16th October. I booked on line and received a helpful text asking when I was arriving, The front desk gentleman was so helpful and even helped carry our bags up the hill to the room. The short walk up the hill the show cases the amazing view of the ocean and Harwood island. Epic sunset! We theme walked downs to Coastal Cookery for dinner, which has a fresh menu and well priced. The TV in the room has full cable, not just a smart TV relying on you to enter your Netflix password like many other places. There is full kitchen, with air fryer. I can recommend this motel and look for to my next trip to Powell River"
