"The hotel was acceptable but the room was very small, the toilet very very low to the floor and the bed was very small, it was listed as a Queen size but i think it was more like a double. Also charging $24 a night to park your car was ridicules after one night in a tiny room was $150+. The parking charge was never mentioned until you had booked in and paid the fees by credit card. Hotels.com usually does better than this!"

"We had a nice stay and I would stay there again, but there were a couple of things that bothered me that are worth mentioning for those who are going to stay there. First the positives: Nice hotel and rooms, great breakfast (big fan of the Omelette station) and the manager's reception is a nice perk as well, the pool and hot tub were a nice temperature (not the case in a lot of hotels we stayed) and everyone was very friendly. The two things that kept it from 5 stars: I know it's stated before we got there, but $45/night for parking is just silly, that was almost as much as the valet parking downtown, but they have a big open parking lot and are around office buildings. Also, they state this when you go in, but the pool is used for swim lessons. What I didn't realize is that it's another company that is there from 4-7 pm (not sure how many days) and they take over. Between the kids, instructors, and parents it became extremely crowded and loud to where our family decided to leave a lot sooner than we would have otherwise. Would I stay there again? I would, it's a nice hotel. I get a few $ for parking, but $45 is really what kept it from 5 stars..."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Francisco Airport West

"Common areas look like pictures. Our room needed updating. Formica counter top had two burn spots. The kitchen cabinets were 80's oak with unaligned doors and worn out top coat. The floor in the kitchen and bedroom had dips/uneven spots; you only noticed when you stepped in a hole. The front desk staff was warm, welcoming and efficient, kudos! Appreciate the coffee in the lobby, very nice. Full breakfast, staff attentively refilling, keeping dishes fresh. Warm vibe in dining area; singles like myself, enjoying quiet coffee and families planning out the day. My advice to the hotel: take care of your people, they take care of your customers. Respect your facility, its your place of business that serves you, your staff and your clients."

Bay Landing San Francisco Airport Hotel

4/10 Poor

"The airport transport does not run ans advertised and we had to wait over an hour for the shuttle bus. The shuttle schedule phone number is run by agentic-AI which would estimate a later and later arrival time every time I called, giving us no real idea if the shuttle was actually coming. In addition, we were assured multiple times prior to our arrival that there would have a pack n play set up in for our 19 month old after traveling for over 12 hours . That was not the case and it took almost an hour to be delivered to our room which led fully avoidable meltdown of our overtired baby that lasted most of the night. Honestly felt very neglectful and tone deaf of hospitality-based service."
