"This was a proper ‘old school’ posh hotel where what you’d expect to get, you got! Right from walking through the wrong door the reception saw that our bags were taken to our room no problem and then the restaurant manager bent over backwards as we were only arriving as the restaurant was meant to close. The room was of course upgraded as they figured we’d been travelling as we arrived at 10pm and was perfect! We didn’t stay for breakfast which was a real pity as we overstayed ourselves in the super comfy bed for an extra half an hour!"

"Wonderful hotel with incredible beach access, sun loungers on tiers jutting out over the water, sea views from the rooms, unbelievably delicious food at 2 dining areas overlooking the water, and a wonderful staff. My only thought is that the interior of the hotel itself could use a coat of paint—perhaps something lighter— and a little design refresh. But, truly, it’s really nothing when balanced against all of the positives that make this gem shine. Don’t hesitate—stay here!"

"We had the most amazing three nights stay at this unique and beautiful apartment perched above a boathouse near Portofino. The place was perfect for a group of six- spacious, comfortable and full of character. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the million dollar view of the Liberian Sea with boats and yachts passing by and the hand painted walls. The location couldn’t have been better just steps away from a gorgeous walking trail that led to Portofino and beach access only a short stroll away and the sound of the waves breaking just below us was pure magic 24/7. This is truly a one-of-a-kind experience on the Italian coast, we wished we stayed longer and one day, hope to return!!!"
