The property is in a great location, very close to a lot of sights we wanted to see. The restaurants nearby were great and easy to walk to. The room also had a great view!

Loved our stay. Mariana made us feel so welcome. Location is convenient to reach with public transit and about a 2 minute walk from the heart of the tourist area. The included breakfast was delicious and plentiful too.

Sa Comfortable Gem!

Na Travessa is in a perfect location and easy walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are compact but very comfortable and in impeccable condition. Mariana and Joana were extremely helpful and informative. The breakfasts were delicious.

Wonderful stay at Na Travessa! Mariana, Joana and the rest of the staff were very lovely and helpful on providing tips and assistance. The area is very central so it is easy to move around the city and there is much to see. The room was very clean and well equipped. The hotel has been renovated very nicely and provides a serene environment for breakfast or enjoying some wine. Would stay here again and recommend it!

Don’t stay anywhere else! Na Travessa has clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the location is ideal for the major sights. The breakfast room and the food they serve is great.

Delightful little gem!!

From the outset our communication with the property owner was excellent. Mariana went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and to cater for my husband’s dietary requirements. The property is absolutely delightful and is in an excellent location for all the sights that Porto has on offer. The attention to detail is exemplary and the care and attention given to the daily breakfasts was fantastic.

Reasons for our 5 star rating: The great view looking over the city roof tops from our balcony. The location just across from Bento train Station, very convenient. Shopping area and restaurants within walking distance. Pre arrival advice from our host Mariana with check in details and travel tips. Joanna going the extra mile to welcome us on our late arrival. It felt like our home

Mariana is running the hotel. She is a amazing host. She herself prepares breakfast which brings us to home. This small hotel is extremely clean, incredible view of Porto, and a small garden of Lemon tree. In the first floor, we were able to read and work in a big table. Mariana and her husband bought an old house and turn it into a lovely hotel. We felt like at home. Thank you Mariana, we already miss you.

your home in Porto...

This is a lovely boutique hotel, minutes walk uphill from soa bento rain station. It is hidden in plain sight, and even the police a block away could not find it. Marianne, the owner , is wonderful, and helpful. Breakfast was cooked to order, and the bed was fabulous. We were walking distance from everything. It is very quiet at night, even though near a busy street.

A gem of a place

This place is truly a gem. Mariana is amazing and possibly the nicest person i have ever met. She reached out ahead of our stay and arranged a pickup for us at the airport. This made whole process seamless. Her hotel is in a perfect location within walking distance to pretty much anywhere you would want to go in Porto (keep in mind Porto has a lot of hills so you will get good cardio workout in). Mariana also served us an amazing breakfast. She was also a wealth of knowledge about the area and offered many recommendations both for site seeing as well as great places to eat. I highly recommend this place and will stay here for sure if I am back in porto.
