"Due to waiting for transport my wife and I arrived in Alvor 90 minutes late, the apartment owner Helga was waiting for us and met us with a hug and a smile and showed us to the apartment which was on the 3rd floor. The apartment had an uninterrupted sea view,it was spotlessly clean ,we literally wanted for nothing,it was all provided .The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise to interrupt the night,the shower was powerful and there was always hot water. "The apartment is close to Tres Castelos beach and some very good restaurants. Very good value for money, as we stayed for a month. The lifts were always working and reliable. There is a concierge in the building for any emergencies. The apartment is well equipped for cooking and has a washing machine so we had a mixture of eating in and going to restaurants. There is a bus route fairly near but we used local taxis to get to bus and train stations and taxis are good value. The bath and shower...
