"We have had a wonderful holiday in Tuscany! The villa was lovely, including pool & other amenities and the countryside sublime! We visited Florence & Siena but be prepared for longer journeys than you might expect, simply because you are in the countryside so lots of long, winding roads and less motorways. We also visited local castles (Romena and Poppi) within ten minutes drive of the villa, and a local vineyard (3 mins away) called Podero Bellosguardo. There was a heatwave while we were there...

"This property is amazing! So quiet and serene away from the city. Visiting Florence is easy and I did it 2 times during my stay. U simply drive down the mountain about 15 min to San Lorenzo and catch 1hr train to Florence. The pool is amazing and the house has so much history. The drive up the mountain is about 15 minutes up some of it is unpaved but it is well WORTH it. Fantastic for families."
