"Extremely uncomfortable bedding... the worst I have experienced in my world travels. Staff was fake-friendly. For example, I requested an additional pillow and was asked why I needed it. The indoor POOL is NOT part of their property! Don't be fooled by the images and captions. It is a neighboring property, use for a fee $, and limited hours. Room & hotel were very clean. Food was good. Hotels grounds were nice. "

"Hotel Fontanelle is in a small town. There is a superb restaurant (pizzeria notte) and the surrounding area is quintessential Italy. Just check your bus schedule, and be patient with the late arrivals. "

Close for day trips to Florence and Poppi, which was an incredible alternative to the touristy towns. "The property is gorgeous, the staff was very attentive and all the requests were promptly addressed. The room was big and clean but they don’t have AC. During the day can get warm but overnight there were no issues. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Overall we highly recommend this property. "
