"We stayed for five days in October; the apartment had lots of space for the five of us. It is located close to the water and restaurants. The unit and the neighbourhood were both quiet. It’s easy to get downtown by bus,tram or Uber. The owner and management company were quick to respond to any questions that we had. "Licinia and her husband were wonderful hosts, easy to communicate with and resolving any issues promptly. The pool.ans outdoor area was great though the weather was bad during our stay so we didn't get to use it.. easy drive to Porto too! The only thing we found was the listing says spa pool and fitness centre which must be a mistake as there is not either of those available a this house."

"Overall this was a good stay. The riverfront, Cockburn’s & a fantastic Fado restaurant is within easy walking distance Our choice of room was double-booked & we were given the larger house. The ac had been turned off because the nights were cool. The problem was the day was very warm & the house was stuffy and we were told that we couldn’t leave the door open. The owner turned the ac on later in the night & it was very pleasant afterward."

Quite secluded and peaceful and about 25 minutes from Regua. Typical country roads to reach it required careful driving. "This really is a beautiiful villa.....so spacious, lots to do and very well equipped. We enjoyed the tennis court, pool, billiards and gorgeous setting. Comfortable beds! Mario was great as a host, could not have asked for more - very responsive, flexible, caring and just at the end of what'sapp on the couple of times needed. We hired a car to give us some extra flexibility which worked for us but it is really easy and cheap to pick up ubers locally and from Porto back to the villa. As said in...
