"We loved the view and the generous grounds around the property. Lots to explore. Some of the outdoor furniture could have been set up cleaner but overall loved reading and relaxing outside. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen and coffee etc was great - thank you! The plumbing is old and we respect that but it was unusual for us to abide by some of the requirements and the upstairs shower didn't drain. "We had a fabulous trip in Malibu at this house. The views are breathtaking, plenty of room for everyone and it was clean. We utilized the pool/hot tub, tennis courts, etc. The concierge team was also very helpful! They had arranged things requested prior to our arrival, gave us numerous options for services (groceries, masssages, etc). The fridge/kitchen was stocked when we arrived and they also helped fix any issues we had. I highly recommend this magical spot! "

"This is atruely a spectacular home but was disappointed when the manager called me to tell me that the owner had seen a pet on the property which was completely untrue as none of the three people had a pet. Not sure where he got that but an incident like that just leaves a bad taste."

"The grounds of this hotel are so beautiful and the location was perfect for us to attend a wedding in Simi Valley. The room was clean and the breakfast was outstanding. The only minor complaint I have is the sliding door on the bathroom. It didn't give much privacy and also hard to use the bathroom at night without lighting up the whole room. I would prefer a standard door. Other than that, it was very nice, very clean and excellent location. "

"Clean comfortable bed, hot shower, microwave, cold mini fridge, coffee maker, working TV with DirecTV. Good locks and blackout curtains. Nice reception lady. It was quiet on a Saturday night. Safe area. The parking lot does fill up later, if you leave you'll lose your spot so just walk or taxi to downtown, it's a 10 minute walk. Also walkable to Ventura pier/beach. The Kwikimart store across the street is very convenient but overpriced fyi. Good close casual dining options for fish tacos and Mexican food literally a block away: Spencer MaKenzie's Fish Co. and my personal fave, Corrales #1. It was a good stay! :)"
