Hotel Port Royal

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was great, just a 10–15 minute walk to the Old Town and about 10 minutes to the cruise dock. There were also several nice restaurants within a five-minute walk. The hotel was clean, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette was a great bonus and had everything we needed. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again."

"We rented a condo room for 3 nights. It was very trendy and urban and a short 10min walk to Old Quebec with restaurants , shopping, etc. Other shops and restaurants started just around the corner. First off, the staff was outstanding. They were all very helpful and friendly. They deserve kudos. The hotel was very clean and I loved the vibe. The rooftop lounge was lovely but beware the wine machines were not consistent with their pour and I felt like we were shorted on several glasses. It was better to buy a bottle and take it up with you. The beds were very comfortable. Having the closet in the living room wasn’t ideal especially if there is several rooms rented and we wanted a gathering place. The living room furniture was hard and uncomfortable. Also the lighting was horrible. I had to take the vanity mirror and get ready on the kitchen counter. The walls and tile were all black with dimmer led lights. Also, no housekeeping, if you needed anything, you had to ask at the front desk such as extra towels, toilet paper, coffee. We were going to a fancy dinner and needed to iron/steam a shirt and that was in the basement in the laundry area. Again not ideal. The view of the marina at night with the lights was beautiful. Overall, I’d rate it a 4/5 and probably wouldn’t stay here again given so many other options but we did enjoy it."

"Absolutely love this hotel. Staff was extremely helpful, amenities were excellent. Top notch gym space. Location is prime. We parked the car and walked everywhere. Two steps out of the hotel and you have the best restaurants in town. Will definitely be back"

"Great location just behind the Centre of the Old Town and in front of the Port, also in the flat part of Town. Easy to walk to all the main areas of Quebec. Hotel is more traditional than others in the area so makes it more interesting and is in a quiet area so no road noise. Friendly welcome, we arrived early and our room wasn’t ready but that was fine when we could gain access our bags had been taken to the room and we had a nice view out to the water. Room was clean with a large bathroom and shower, with nice toiletries. There was plenty of hanging space for clothes but not so much drawer space. Entrance to the property is through Hotel 71, where you can use their amenities including breakfast and the wine tap (both additional charge). The hotel was very kind in helping me celebrate a very special birthday. Great stay in a lovely location"

"This was a beautiful hotel in the most perfect location. Sites we wanted to see were walking distance. Great restaurants right across the street. Room was spacious and extremely clean. Shower was so relaxing and bed comfy. Staff was so kind and gracious. The staff really made the difference. We had a horrible travel experience because of canceled flights and needed a last minute place to stay. This hotel and the staff eased the blow of a 72 hour delay in travel because of a canceled flight. I completely recommend this hotel."
