"Lovely hotel, family room was clean and spacious, although there was only 1 double socket in the room being used for the TV and kettle. Luckily I took an extension lead otherwise we wouldn't have been able to charge our phones (I know, 1st world problems!) Restaurant was lovely, cooked and continental breakfast had everything you need. Overall fantastic stay."

The car park is right behind the hotel and even though it is a pay and dispay car park, the convenience of its location is well worth the six pounds for a full day charge. "The only thing we didn't like about this hotel was the limited parking at the hotel however saying that the nearby local station (tourist train) is free parking between 6pm and 9am so it wasn't a problem and we paid for an additional couple of hours the following morning at a cost of £2.50. "This was our first stay at the Northfield Hotel and likely won't be our last. The building is fantastic, beautiful, spacious and has lovely character. The parking was easy in the Hotels car park and the garden was incredible to walk around & so well looked after. The hotel also boasts a fantastic pool, jacuzzi and gym. We loved the jacuzzi. With Minehead beach literally a 2 minute walk as well as the main High Street just a stones throw away it was so convienent and nice not to have to drive...
