"A great experience in a well designed and well run place. Just one simple thing that can be done to make the experience even better: Move or create a sound-proof / sound-dampening box around the water pump. Currently the pump is situated directly outside the accommodation and when people use water, the pump turns on. If you are a light sleeper (like me) this can be disturbing. Other than that, a really great place, with warm and friendly staff, good wifi and delicious affordable food. About a 10-15 min walk from the centre of Ponta de Ouro, makes this place feel like a getaway while still feeling connected to the town. Thanks Mark and Mikash for an unforgettable experience. "A 4x4 vehicle is ABSOLUTELY necessary to get to the villa. Once we actually found the place because GPS and directions the site provided were not accurate, it is beautiful. We were trying to call the number on the site for help and directions but the phones weren’t answered. We hired a local to guide us. The villa is beautiful and the views are stunning. We kept experiencing power outages and there was no water the morning we were checking out. The food from the restaurant was delicious and well prepared "
