"What a fantastic resort. It looks like it was recently renovated, and the resort is superbly located within walking distance of the shops. A code of conduct on the website might be helpfull because another family, that stayed on top, came and sat right infront of our room, while playing musing on a boom box loud. We reported it to the guards, and they were reluctant to tell the people to stop. We also did not know that drinking alcohol on the beach was forbidden, but luckily a local advised us. The cleaning staff were fantastic and extremely helpfull and friendly. The kids play room is a fantastic idea. I see there is a basket ball hoop, and I think it will be a good addition to add it. Other recommendations: # add a dustbin inside the unit"

"A great experience in a well designed and well run place. Just one simple thing that can be done to make the experience even better: Move or create a sound-proof / sound-dampening box around the water pump. Currently the pump is situated directly outside the accommodation and when people use water, the pump turns on. If you are a light sleeper (like me) this can be disturbing. Other than that, a really great place, with warm and friendly staff, good wifi and delicious affordable food. About a 10-15 min walk from the centre of Ponta de Ouro, makes this place feel like a getaway while still feeling connected to the town. Thanks Mark and Mikash for an unforgettable experience. "Not all advertised features were actually available (wifi, TV, swimming pool, restaurant), but, that being said, the house was beautiful and very comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the beach. And fortunately we had brought our own food to cook there. "

"A 4x4 vehicle is ABSOLUTELY necessary to get to the villa. Once we actually found the place because GPS and directions the site provided were not accurate, it is beautiful. We were trying to call the number on the site for help and directions but the phones weren’t answered. We hired a local to guide us. The villa is beautiful and the views are stunning. We kept experiencing power outages and there was no water the morning we were checking out. The food from the restaurant was delicious and well prepared "
