"This hotel offers a truly unique and memorable experience, housed within a beautifully renovated ancient Faculty of Science building. Its heritage is seamlessly reflected in the contemporary decor and even the hotel's name. Our room was a comfortable size – neither overly large nor small – featuring a clever and unique transparent bathroom wall in the shower area. My personal favorite was the giant tub, easily accommodating two people for a truly relaxing bath. We particularly appreciated that all toiletries were from L'Occitane, as their delightful scents enhanced our stay, and we welcomed the perfumed Epsom salts provided for our bath soak. The complimentary spa access (available mornings and evenings without reservation) is a standout feature. The staff is exceptionally friendly and provides invaluable, personalized tips about the city, covering everything from top sightseeing spots to dining recommendations and even great "caves à vin" for tasting experiences. Beyond the rooms, the terrace, bar, and restaurant areas are beautiful and pleasant. The reception's unique hanging lights create a magical ambiance that will delight Harry Potter fans, reminding them of the Great Hall's floating candles. The only minor drawback is the location.
