We enjoyed our stay at the Stampeder Inn. As they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover. We stayed in a renovated room and it was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bed sheets were nice and soft. The free breakfast has a lot of options. The couple that run the hotel are very nice and helpful. I would stay there again for sure.

With the worst road conditions imaginable, my husband's travel plans quickly changed. I was able to book him a room at The Stampeder, and they made a terrible situation so much better. From the moment he arrived, they were friendly, and went out of their way to make him feel like a valued customer. Check in was great, and he was told when breakfast would begin, and to just sleep in, and it would still be available for him whenever he woke up. With road conditions still not great in the morning, they didn't impose an early check out, so he was able to get back on the road safely. We can't say enough great things about The Stampeder Inn. (He also said the firm bed was great for his back.)
