"We have stayed here many times it is ideally located for our purpose of visiting Wells Glastonbury and Street
We will definitely be returning as soon as we can."
"Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear."
"The location was absolutely brilliant as it's so central although be aware that this is a lively pub so if you want a quiet stay it's maybe not for you. I went with a friend and we loved every minute, so much so that we're going to make it a yearly visit. Our rooms were clean with very comfortable beds, the staff are, without exception, super friendly, as is the Manager. We can definitely recommend the breakfast as it's wonderful!"
"The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!"
"LOVELY STAY IN ONE OF THE COTTAGES JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM THE PUB
WAS EXPECTING SOME NOISE AS IT WAS DURING THE FOOTBALL BUT IT WAS SO PEACEFUL DIDNT HEAR ANYTHING,
LARGE COMFORTABLE BED, HUGE BATHROOM WITH WALK IN SHOWER,
SHORT WALK TO THE VILLAGE AND RESTAURANTS .
BIG FAN HELPED WITH THE HEAT AS IT WAS AROUND 33 THAT WEEKEND
WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN."
"We stayed for 4 nights in this historic inn which is very centrally located in Wells; just a stone’s throw from the cathedral. It has a nice pub and the food was good including the breakfast (which was not included in our package). The staff were friendly and helpful. A fan was provided as it was an unusually warm week. Our room, and the courtyard leading to it, could use an update."
