Can Fiol - Five Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 10

This superb individual detached villa is located just 400m from the
beach in the ‘Llenaire’ area of Puerto Pollensa. There are a number of
restaurants and a supermarket within easy walking distance. The villa
occupies a large corner plot and offers good privacy having hedging all
round the gardens to the side and rear where the swimming pool is also
located. It enjoys good views of mountains and the resort.

Mobility Statement
To access the villa there is a path which is 120cm wide along with 3 steps up to the villa itself. The front door has a width of 88cm and other doors that access the pool area is the hallway door which is 55cm wide and the kitchen door which is 150cm wide. Paths from the villa to the pool are 105cm wide, the grounds are flat and the pool has roman steps to enter. The widest bedroom door on the ground floor is 70cm wide and the widest bathroom door on the ground floor is 70cm wide also. The door into the kitchen/dining area is 70cm wide and the door into the lounge area is 140cm wide.

Great villa in a great location

My family and I stayed at this villa in mid September 2010, whilst it was still hot but with no crowds. The property is situated on a very quiet street in a nice area of Puerto Pollenca. There is a 3-4 minute walk to a grassed and tree lined area next to the sea and a further few minutes to reach the main beach. The harbour and the town centre is about a 20 minute walk, but very pleasant, along the sea front. The villa is very large with an impressive entrance hall leading to a huge lounge/dining room, a second separate sitting room and even an indoor glass screened garden area filled with mature tropical plants and trees. Marble floors are throughout. There are generous sized bedrooms and bathrooms all over the place. The kitchen and separate laundry room are well equipped. Outside there is a big pool and a masonry bbq. The pool area is very private and well screened by mature trees and bushes. There are plenty of sunbeds and three outdoor dining tables..The property appears to have been built in the early 1970s and I can imagine it was constructed to a very high spec. and would have been the height of luxury then. It's showing its age somewhat now, with a little wear and tear, but is still a very nice property and we enjoyed our stay. I would have given full marks but we were not allowed to park off road in the property's driveway which is reserved for the owners and no bbq tools are provided. Solmar Villas were very efficient in dealing with our booking. Everything went extremely smoothly and I would certainly make future bookings with them.

What can I say! this villa exceeded all my expectations. This is our fourth visit to Puerto Pollenca and we have stayed in appartments and villas but the pictures did not do this villa justice. My party was 7 adults and 2 children and we all had our own space. The outside area and the furniture provided was more than ample. The beach is a short walk and the town centre a good walk some would say but only 5 euros in a taxi if the legs give out. We arrived after 10 in the evening and the alarms went off but we had assistance within 15 mins and still had time for a drink at the corner bar before bed. There is a seperate sitting room for the kids to watch their dvds and electric gates so no worry about the kids running on the road and the area is very quiet. Just one thing, take care on the floors, as in most places abroad the floors are tiled and very slippy when wet.The pool area is not gated but with so many adults to watch our children we did not find this too much of a worry. The furniture is comfy and the beds were good with plenty of wardrobe space and good sized bathrooms and spacious bedrooms. Everything was very clean and on Thursday (we were only staying a week) the maids came in to change covers and clean bathrooms. There are three steps up into the property, I say this because i normally travel with a wheelchair user and notice theese things. Inside four bedroom and three bathrooms are on one level and a bedroom and bathroom upstair. The fifth bathroom is for when you come out of the pool. What more can I say but we all had a great time and would definatly book again. I hope you everyone has the same enjoyment as my family
