"Lovely pub, very spacious with nice lounge and outside area. Food really nice and rooms were perfect. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Oh and nice beer and good value for money."

"The room was clean and the shower worked well (although personal preference I wasn't a fan of the shower curtain!). They provided a fan in the room which was needed with the heat. All the staff were lovely and they even carried our big suitcase up the stairs for us! Enjoyed are stay and located in a wonderful location."

"This was our 4th visit to the thatch cottage and ppossibly the last. 1. Arrived at 3pm as on booking form door lockked all in darkness no one around. 2. 5 pm a lady turned up unlocked and let us in and booked in and showed us to the room, told us breakfast times but no evening meals on monday or tuesday. Room was ok 3. Went for breakfast next morning in darkness,only one cereal bowl no plates for toast no tea or coffee or milk ,no one around to ask,found plates and bowl in kitchen,butter had...

"Good location for strolling around Langport with its cafes,independent shops , gardens and river walks . The library is very close with an outdoors area . We had a room in the courtyard , good in the heatwave . Sometimes had to park further away in town car park ..still free ,though in autumn 2026 may have to pay . Staff helpful ."

"Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon"

"UNIQUE!!!!!?? in room 7 to turn the light on over the mirror__rotate the bulb!!! I liked that. Double aspect room. Excellent. Everything was spotless. All fixtures and fittings in the room were top quality and imacculately installed. Excellent breakfast. To nit- pic, the toilet was set too high off the floor. One less robust pillow would have been nice. There seemed to be no lighting to the front of the building, maklng it difficult to locate in the dark. I would definitely stay again."

It was very basic and the TV was very small for the size of the room.
