If you’re looking for an off the beaten path, rustic kind of vacation look no further. This place has so much rustic country charm you won’t to leave. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful, it’s absolutely beautiful on the lake. The cottage is super cozy, the beds were super comfortable and the lakeside doc/beach is what made it perfect for us (and our dogs). Overall, we ate, we read, we sunbathed, we napped and then started it all over again until bedtime. We came home well rested. Our vacation was totally stress free!! Andrea and her husband were lovely. We’ll be back for sure!!

Andrea and Kenny's cabin provided a wonderful respite from the frenetic pace of life. The 1915's cabin is rustic, yet also has an updated bathroom, wifi and all the toys for the Pond: dock, kayaks, (these personable and gracious hosts left us their own personal ones after floating by!), an electric boat, canoe, fire pit, etc.....
The view from the deck is even nicer than the picture. The families of geese will swim by regularly, and the fish will constantly approach the shore in the warm, crystal clear water that serves as a reservoir, if needed. This is very secluded and family/pet friendly. The house has everything you will need for a stay on the pond. You are surprisingly only fifteen minutes from Plymouth's wonderful restaurants, stores and beaches inland or along the ocean. However, you'll never feel that close. This is peaceful, pond living in a special place where homes are passed down from one generation to another. Thank you, again!

We had a wonderful Columbus Day weekend at this great waterfront cabin. The wrap around porch and fire pit were well used and enjoyed. The boats, trolling motor and battery made fishing easy, fun and productive. We caught several large and small mouth bass - including many small mouths in the 2 to 3 pound range. Even my wife caught a couple Smallies over 2 pounds. Can’t wait to come back to try again pre- spawn.
The view is great for beautiful sunsets. The cabin is rustic but well stocked and has a great vacation vibe. Cable and Wi-Fi were appreciated.
Finally the owners were very responsive and very friendly. Very low key and flexible, which we really appreciated. Very convenient to all the Plymouth sites. All around a wonderful get away!

A fantastic property, incredible owners and the best lake front location we have visited.... We will go back and look forward to our next visit. Our two rescue border collies played endlessly in the water on the sandy beach. Good price for a phenominal 100 plus year old lake front cabin. The fishing was phenomenal and the water craft was inclusive. Highly recommended!!!

The setting is perfect for getting away from it all. The proximity to the pond was the best part, and the pond was just right for swimming in comfort. There was a sandy beach, and a dock that the dogs enjoyed jumping off of. Having the use of the kayak and canoe was an added pleasure. Having linens provided was a welcome bonus. All in all, a perfect cottage for our little group!

We had a fabulous week at this cabin. The view and the access to the pond were amazing. The fact that you have the use of the boat, canoes, and such made it even better. The water is super clear and great for swimming. It is totally secluded but yet super close to stores and reataurants. Was a great get-away and I would definitely go there again.

As above plus: owner listened attentively to our concerns about cleanliness. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Renter must bring own soap, laundry deteregent, kitchen wraps and bags, some paper goods. Several stores for supplies nearby. Sunsets from the porch! Very relaxing but many historical sites nearby.

We had a amazing vacation at the cottage. There is a private beach with swimming, kayaking and a fire pit on the beach and its just 30 steps from the house. You wake up in the morning, open the french doors to the lake view and can sit on the deck or walk down to the sandy beach, sit in the Adirondack chairs and drink your coffee. The whole family kayaked, chased frogs, fished and swam. We visited Plymouth for all the tourist attractions and dinner some nights but then came "home" to our peaceful cabin to watch tv, sit by the fire or play cards and board games on the deck. The cottage in off on the woods but was less than 10 minutes to Plymouth attractions and even closer to stores, restaurants, bank. I would recommend to anyone is looking for a lake cabin vacation. Ken stopped by to make sure we were fine but did not intrude on our vacation at all. Really a great vacation!

We had such a great time at the cottage. It was clean, quite and peaceful. The location was perfect, just far enough away to seem like NH but close enough to everything! The pond was beautiful, water crystal clear. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and just sitting by the fire sipping a glass of wine. Andrea and Ken the owners were wonderful and very attentive to any requests we had.
Super grateful!

Had a wonderful stay. The cabin was so charming and equipped with everything you possibly would need. The views of the lake and sunsets were amazing. I could sit on that covered porch all day and just stare at the view and be very happy. Andrea and Ken were so helpful and welcoming. The use of the boats was such a special bonus when traveling with teenagers! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful relaxing time during our weeklong stay. The sunsets were amazing over the lake and the daily kayak trips around the lake were great. It's a perfect location close enough to the Cape and Plymouth but far enough away to enjoy the solitude. We will definitely be back. Thank you Andrea for being so Attentive and also for the "welcome muffins"!!!

This lovely cottage is from a time gone by. It is set on a peaceful, sandy lane surrounded by pine and oak woods, and lots of walking trails. The interior has been carefully and lovingly restored to reflect the era in which the cottage was built. The views of the lake from inside are beautiful. The setting is so peaceful that it's more reminiscent of Maine or New Hampshire. Time takes on a new dimension--one of leisurely meals, good conversation, and enjoyment of the outdoors--even though the house is just three miles from route 3! Andrea and Ken, the owners, are kind and generous people, and their house and all its amenities (canoes, comfy porch furniture, a hammock, etc.) reflect this. Thank you for sharing such a unique and lovely house!

My brother and I stayed here for a week recently. Andrea and Kenny are the greatest! We took the boat to the island exploring, sat on the porch and watched the sunsets, but it was a little too cool to lay in the hammock this time of year. The owners provide all needed amenities. Can't say enough about our stay. We would be happy to stay here again. Quaint cottage reminded me of being on Walden Pond or "On Golden Pond". Thank you both for the wonderful vacation.
PS: I'm missing my steamed clams already, I'll have to hurry back to that neck of the woods.

We had a terrific weekend and absolutely loved the cabin and the location. It is "away from it all" yet within striking distance of places in the area that we wanted to visit! The property is cleane and well maintained and we were very comfortable. The color of the trees that weekend made for a spectacular view from the front porch on our 1st morning (we arrived at dusk) and we toured the lake in the owner's kayaks and canoes prior to heading out to see the local sights. Upon return that evening we built a fire in the fire pit at the edge of the water and enjoyed the stars and the cool evening. The property owners are particularly helpful and friendly which we deeply appreciated because we are not from that region and needed advice regarding restaurants, etc. We would highly recommend this property and wished we lived closer to visit the area more often!

What a great vacation. The cottage if right on the water and we watched beautiful sunsets every night. The owners are really nice and accommodating. Their is plenty of walking trails nearby and shopping is only 10 minutes away. So if you want a relaxing vacation with local attraction nearby this is the place. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed here with over July 4th week and just really enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the double doors that allow you to get a great view of the beach and pond from the house. Andrea and her husband were very welcoming, checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Since we had a few kids in our party that were visiting, they let us use the extra kayaks from their house next door, which was handy. The water is clear, warm and inviting...the beach across the pond is like a mini paradise. We boated there with a picnic and had the whole soft sand beach to ourselves. My husband and I biked some of the trails nearby and there are plenty of side roads for a good run/walk. What a great stay, we'll have to go back!

Many thanks to you and your husband for helping to make our vacation in Massachusetts such an enjoyable experience.
The cottage is lovely and the work you all have done is clearly a labor of love. The pond is pristine and serene. It was very restful not to hear the drone of gasoline motors or jet skis so common on most lakes. The sunsets were gorgeous, especially when viewed from the dock or porch. The watercraft and fishing equipment were much appreciated fringe benefits which my children particularly enjoyed. We all enjoyed seeing the turtles in Turtle Cove.
The cottage was a wonderful place at which to relax and return to after a day of local sightseeing. Plymouth was very convenient to our day trips to Salem, Concord, Boston, Braintree, the Cape and Martha’s Vineyard. One evening we went to see the Plimouth Players perform The Tempest over at Plimouth Plantation and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
And thank you for accommodating our dog, Danny. My wife could not bear to leave him home. It was cute how he would go out and sit on the driveway in the mornings and wait for Duke to come over to play.

We stayed for an extended weekend in September 2010 and the cottage was exactly as described. The cottage was rustic but had all the modern conviences such as flat screen tv, microwave and coffee maker. The property was secluded but just 10 minutes away their was shopping and dining. The view of the pond and the sunsets were beautiful. The property was clean and the owner answered all my questions in a timely manner. We brought our dogs and enjoyed miles of hiking trails nearby. Everyone was very friendly. I would highly recommend this property to someone who is looking to get away but wants to be close enough for shopping and dining.

We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a restful, beautiful vacation stay! The owners went the extra mile to insure that we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect, and easily accomodated our 5 small children. The lake was warm and the scenery beautiful. Travel into Plymouth was easy, and getting to Boston was also easy from this location. There are many nearby beaches. We enjoyed our stay and had no complaints or concerns!
