"Everything was good We had a shower drain. Clogged bathroom door didn't close And in the bar pool area i got stung by a bee At the end of the vacation we call the bell boy to pick up our luggage i tip $5.00 when he picked them an another $5.00 when he was supposed to put then in the taxi but he just walk away and left them for me to loan them I didn't get he's name but he has curly hair and was sent at around 10:45 to my room 2215 on 05/15/2026 But he was the only bad apple"

"I planned my 70th birthday party to happen in Puerto Vallarta. It was a family affair with 12 adults and 3 grandchildren. To say I was happy would be a gross understatement. It was a fabulous trip! The location of Casa Castelli is beautiful. The jungle overlooking the sea. Perfection. The house is everything as advertised, and more. Six families had their own bedroom and supersized bathroom. The pool is excellent and well cared for. What stands out is the staff! The daytime house keepers were great. One hardly knows they are there. The chef staff was beyond wonderful. The food was plentiful and always delicious. Not one guest had a complaint!! Try to do that at a restaurant. They were friendly and accommodating. I really can’t say enough about them. Alejandra was our go to concierge for everything. She was available and super efficient. She organized our tours and answered any needs we had. She’s a gem. This property runs like a well oiled machine. A dream of a vacation."

"This unit has a fantastic view! Nicely decorated and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful beach towels and chairs with umbrella if you wanted to have one in the sand, but we just used it on the balcony for shade. This was perfect! Plenty of fridge room with having the big wine fridge also. Bed was wonderful, water pressure was strong in the shower, so perfect.the owners Matt and Deidra are very responsive and gave us tons of good advice on what was around to do and places to eat etc. they are very responsive and helpful! We highly recommend renting from them. Thank you for allowing us to have this lovely stay! Sue and Kevin. 10/10 trip"

"We booked this rental for a bachelorette party. There was 11 of us total. The house manager was very difficult to get a hold of prior to scheduling everything. The staff was great when we arrived. However, the food was lackluster and very minimal even though we paid for the groceries. We had to keep repeatedly, asking the chef to make more food as we were eating just because there wasn't enough for all of us to eat together. Depending on what we had on the menu that day it varied. I wouldn't say that the food was all around great some days were good and some days we're OK.The bartender was very kind, however, it was not what we were expecting. We were looking forward to having a bartender that could make fun cocktails, and shots. However, the bartender had very limited knowledge of drinks/shots and was basically there just to stir drinks. We even bought mixers and all the alcohol to be able to have the cocktails and he was still not able to do it. As I mentioned, it was very difficult to communicate with the property manager. It was hard for him to give me receipts for everything that we paid for. When we tipped them for the whole trip, he pocketed all the money even though it's supposed to be split between him and the chef. He was told in person face to face. So in the end, we had to spend a lot more than we were initially quoted. It is a very beautiful location the house itself is definitely seen better days. Everything was kind of cleaned but not spotless."
