The resort is small and quaint and felt very much like a large family with a wonderful beach to walk on adjacent to the property and a large pool with swim up bar to cool down in. Can’t wait to go back!"

"I absolutely adore this property and will definitely be coming back! I feel it had everything I needed without needed to ever leave. The shuttle service was amazing, the beach you could walk to (but the shuttle will take you). They had a restaurant on the property, and a restaurant right across from the main entrance. A mini market by the beach. Pools, bars, jacuzzis. The rooms were very clean. I felt safe. I even took a few Ubers when I left the property. The view is sooo amazing. To wake up to that every morning was the highlight. The resurgent is also overlooking the view. It was such a peaceful and resetting vacation, with all you need to have a good time. The bed is my only con, it was very hard and stiff. But, I am still planning to come back!! For sure! Would recommend. Don’t think twice! And book a room facing the beach! It makes the entire trip worthwhile! "

"The villa was better than advertised!!! The pictures do not do it justice! We had 3 kids and 5 adults with plenty of room. The view is amazing and likely the best in the area. The location is excellent and gated with an armed guard. I felt safe with my family and I am very protective. We had difficulty with our travel days and the owners allowed us to stay an extra night at no cost. Very gracious!!! We did all the things while there: a 4 wheeler tour, surfing, water falls, hot springs, swinging bridges, sloths, riding horses on the beach, fishing charter, and of course private chef’s which was our favorite and recommended by Zindis, the property management group who host the villa. A pro tip for anyone looking fo white faced monkeys in the area…. They show up near the market behind the RIU in Montapalo every morning between 9 and 10 local time. They are out of our hands and crawled all over you if you let them "
