"Excellent value for money in a lovely setting, the half board buffet was good quality. All staff were friendly. I stayed after getting off a cruise and was allowed access to my room at 10am, this was really appreciated. Would definitely return to the hotel. "For a four star it was good. Thumps up. only a few things that should not spoil it for you... 1. Only 1 heated pool in the Autumn. 2. For meals you are told where to sit, rather than choosing for yourself. (I felt like a school child, after queuing to get in the dining hall) And a member of senior staff, very rude, for a chair that was not allocated to a table that we wanted to sit on. Very bizarre, on every meal. The food was very good. 3. The other staff including reception, were great. "

"What a stunning place to stay! There was a real sense of peace and tranquility in and around the hotel during my 3 nights. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. My apartment had everything I needed and the receptionists were very helpful. Two things to consider: There's no air conditioning which wasn't too big an issue in December but may be over the summer.
