"Overlooks sea with fabulous views of the Isle of Wight Needles. Facilities were top notch. Particularly enjoyed soaking in the huge bath with tons of hot water. Bed was very comfortable and the bedding was top quality. Fridge in room was extremely useful as this year has been a heatwave. Would recommend guests use the blackout blinds if they don’t want to be woken by the early morning sunshine. The stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow so I struggled with my knee injury. "The property was basic, as expected, but the host's behavior was shockingly unprofessional and erratic. After honestly correcting a simple booking mistake (one guest instead of two) and promptly offering payment, the host initially seemed polite but slow to respond. Things turned serious when I accidentally locked myself out of the bedroom—without shoes or phone—and urgently contacted him via my smartwatch. He claimed he'd arrive in an hour but vanished for hours, ignoring multiple calls....
