Plainfield INN is AMAZING!! Clean. Quiet. Great location. Rooms are exactly as described. For the price; it was a STEAL! Parking was easy. Super close to a “downtown” district that is a minute away to walk. Private bathroom which was wonderful!! Great shower and nice cold rooms!! Will definitely stay there again!! Justin was a very nice man to deal with

Wonderful property. Historic building with ultra modern amenities. You must negotiate at least 3 steps, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue for you. The inn is perfectly situated for walking downtown Plainfield. Shops, restaurants, and the best ice cream locally is right around the corner. Alles ist in der Nähe. (Everything is close by.)

Justin provided a history of the property and was very accommodating. The Inn is close to many great restaurants, shops, breweries, and more. I would highly recommend a stay and plan to visit again!

Very clean property inside and out. Staff was helpful with all questions. Parking was easy. The room was very nice. This is an old home so there are a couple things to be prepared for: 1) if on the second floor the stairs are very narrow with short steps. Very difficult with large suitcases 2) no a/c control in the room. Didn’t realize it was in the hallway outside of the room until we woke in the morning but assume it controls all of the rooms. Sleeping was a little stuffy as we like the bedroom cooler. All in all great experience and the downtown Plainfield area is fun to walk. Will stay again in the future.

Good location, quaint

The Plainfield Inn has rooms in two quaint historic houses within walking distance of Plainfield's quaint downtown, which has many historic buildings and several good restaurants. It has the feel of a bed and breakfast but with no breakfast.

We had a great stay . Location to downtown Plainfield was great. Stairs to go up to room are steep but this nearly 150 year old house is well maintained. Room was very clean and had plenty of room / space. Bed was very comfortable and private bathroom was great to have! Owner was very responsive and helped make sure our stay was a good experience.

We enjoyed staying at the Plainfield Inn. There was good communication between us and the manager making check in easy. There is parking which is convenient but it’s a bit tricky maneuvering while backing out.
