"We stayed here for one night and had a second floor loft suite. The room was clean and modern and nicely decorated. We especially loved the fresh shortbread cookies and the fresh milk and the fridge for our coffee in the morning. The bathroom was clean and also modern. The building itself is beautiful and the location was nice and close to a local walking trail that we took that went from the dam all the way up to the Falls. The breakfast staff were extremely attentive and we had the hot breakfast which was delicious. "

"This property is a lovely home converted for lodging and located directly behind the major street in Pitlochry. The host, David, is friendly and helpful and a great asset to your stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The property is directly behind Heathergems and close to many quaint shops and cafes as well as the nearby Salmon Ladder hike. Definitely recommend!"

"Throughly enjoyed short break at the Hotel with all the staff being helpful and friendly and were made welcome despite being very busy. Food was generally very good and plentiful (yes eate too much) and all the bar meals and dining was excellent. The Breakfasts were average but perfectly edible and no shortage of drinks available for whatever your tastes. The hotel was clean and well maintained but did have a couple of ongoing minor repairs which is good to see as mainting an old building like this is a must and probably an ongoing project. One very minor niggle noted was some unreplaced damage to electrical fitments (reading light switches and data point that looked like recent vandalism from previous occupant) in the room but overall and very welcome and recommended stopover for the traveller."

"The hotel was very comfortable and our room was freshly renovated with a nicely updated bathroom. Check in was quick and easy, and there was plenty of parking too. The room had a comfortable bed, a clean fan, and even had little snacks to go with your tea. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful and had lots of options. There are lovely walking paths around the hotel and the hotel even has its own museum. I would definitely recommend staying here for a short stay in Pitlochry!"

"Enjoyable one night stay, room was spacious. A little bit off putting when arriving to see some windows boarded up but when you get to the car park it looks really nice. Restaurant closed on the night we stayed so can’t comment on that, but breakfast was good. "

"What a gem!! The property is in a great location, very walkable to everything. The front desk was so friendly and they were able to get us a room on the first floor since we had heavy luggage. Our room was so nice and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. And we fully enjoyed our buffet breakfast. We could not have asked for more! "
