"This place was perfect. We got in super late to our check in (basically in the middle of the night) and the staff was very understanding, even being so kind as to offer to refill our water bottles as we checked in. When we got to the room, it was clean, and quiet. The bathroom was perfect after a long day of travel, clean and with great water pressure in the shower and sink. In the morning, breakfast service was outstanding and the staff were again kind and helpful. Great place to stay,...

"Good location and breakfast but room and hotel looking a bit tired. Hot day when we arrived but heating in our room was on full so like a sauna. Asked for a portable fan but reception forgot so had to chase. Also windows in room didnt open properly so hard to get air in"

"The room was really spacious compared with other accommodation we have had in the UK. Breakfast was ok, dinner was pretty poor at the onsite restaurant. Staff were friendly. The location was good for our road trip around Scotland. A big negative for us was the noise from the floor above us, the floor board were so creaky we heard every step of the people upstairs, and the entry doors would bang closed…. No sleep in for us."
