"Well, first - the view! Waking up in the morning and looking out over the ravine from our bedroom doorway will be something we will NEVER forget. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, with courtesy lifts to and from the car park (the free one at the University was perfect), responses to messages immediately and on hand for coffee at 10pm! The breakfast, sat outside on the veranda, at the end of October was special. The best breakfast of our trip. This hotel is something else - and value for money? We would have paid double. Amazing - thank you for everything!"

"Exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of the old Sassi with easy access to everything. Beautiful property, every room a gem and the staff and ownership are superb. We have stayed here now two times and highly recommend this gem as a unique hotel experience that celebrates its history while offering a luxury experience ."

"Great place to stay in Matera. One block from the piazza and everything in the piazza including the Sassi. The rooms are not luxurious but are comfortable and very clean. Wi-Fi is very reliable and decently fast. Worked fine for everyday use and for streaming. The breakfast was very good. Nothing excessive and nothing hot. But lots of great choices from cereals, fruit, pastries, pies, cheese, bread, and meats."
