"The location was unbelievable. It was steps from pile gate and when the taxi dropped us off we just had a couple of steps to the place. The place did have some steps up to the actual apartment. The view at breakfast is the best view in dubravnik and we loved sitting there with that view. Breakfast was good. They asked if you want omelets or scrambled eggs, provide fruit and bread. The room was totally adequate for our needs as we got the smaller room available. The apartment ones we didn’t see. We ate lunch there and the grilled meat and black risotto was delicious. The people that work there couldn’t be nicer. We often stopped for a drink in the evening and they did give us a free round which was nice. I would recommend this place to anyone for the ease of getting around and the view. Taxis were also near by. I saw that some people mentioned the courtyard not being nice enough but with the gorgeous view just steps from your apartment who cares. I thought it was fine but we never used it just went to the water. When we come back we will stay here again. "

"6-10 June 2025 Book-in & Staff very friendly. Had a Superior Room which was very spacious and comfortable (although fridge tiny). The building is very historic which you will learn from their cocktail menu. Well located for walking (30 mins) or busing into Old Town Dubrovnik. Breakfast was delicious, and we dinned in the restaurant one evening for a buffet one evening which was also very good. Pool & Bar which extends into a garden area clean & tidy, and the staff always happy to help with beds/parasols."

"We had pool/sea view room. Beautiful scenery. Very nice and friendly staff. Room was immaculate. Restaurant on site is average. I would venture out to eat. Very nice pool and sea access. You can take the #4 bus that stops at the hotel, right to the center of town by the wall and restaurants. "

"This tranquil oasis is the perfect escape from the hustle & bustle from old town, yet still within walking distance! The grounds & rooms are immaculate and the staff is attentive and very kind. You are treated like royalty. The food is also delicious! I truly can’t say enough good things about this intimate hotel and will definitely be back. "

"This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. It is 20 minutes walk to old town. There are two bus stations within few minutes walk from hotel. one goes to old town and the other comes from old town. Get the Dubrovnik pass and it covers all the bus rides. Taxi is 9 euros to old town but bus is easier than taxi, believe me I’m not bus person but this was better option than taxi. Breakfast was very good. Fresh and many options. Friendly staff. A famous restaurant in Dubrovnik, Taj Mahal, is next door. Taj Mahal is not Indian cousin it’s Bosnian cousin and really good. My only complaint is beds and towels that could be better quality. I will definitely stay here again. "

"Our stay at Valamar Lacroma was delightful! We informed them we were on our honeymoon and they upgraded our room to a stunning Suite, such a thoughtful gesture! We especially loved every staff member we met, their service was top tier. We especially want to give a shout out to Dubravka and Hrvoje at the front desk who helped us with a very complicated issue and spent quite some time translating for us! We also got great recommendations and service from Dominik and Marin! Also have to mention breakfast, loved the selections! One side note, you do have to walk pretty far for the beach. We definitely wished that there was a more private beach option we could use with lounge chairs that you don't have to pay for. "
