Not a bad place to stay, cabin is cute. A little over priced since the furnishings are pretty worn and the TV in the bedroom doesn't work. The view in the pics are very misleading. Those pictures in the ad must be very old.

It was a very nice cabin. The taxidermy was outstanding. There was a racoon, several bucks, and a squirrel in a conoe. I grew up in a home of avid hunters and really appreciated the game theme. The area has many cabins and was very noisy until the wee hours of the morning. We were not bothered by this. Inside the cabin, it was peaceful. Affordable and nice weekend retreat for us.

This place is in need of an update. If smells bother you then this is not the cabin for you. It has a musty smell. We probably will not stay again.

10/10

Zero exaggeration from other peoples reviews about that driveway up to the cabin. Steep but manageable, as long as no snow/ice present! Otherwise, cabin was clean and very quaint. Excellent location as far as equal distance from main attraction in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! First two nights hot tub worked perfect then the last night we were there it wouldn’t get above 94° when the two previous nights it was able to reach 104°. Super minor. View was great. Had wifi, Netflix available, pool table, and dart board. 10/10 recommend staying at this cabin!

Not the best, but it was worth the money spent. Has a pretty good view, but don’t be fooled by the hot tub, it’s looking directly at the neighbors no privacy at all. The master bedroom is amazing except for the big windows up high that you can’t put blinds over to sleep in. The tub in the master bedroom is Perfect. The fireplace is 2 way but there is no blinders to shut for privacy in the master bedroom (don’t go here with kids). The bathroom isn’t the best quality and the stairs feel like you are about to fall through them. I give this place a solid 3.5 star👍🏼

Overall the cabin was beautiful and a great location. Easy to get to towns. However there is much needed TLC and listing n comments so that other guests know well it won’t let me send it directly unless I comment publicly so I’m gonna do it them to avoid other comments from future guests: No coffee pot (as pictured in ad) so we didn’t bring ours. Only Keurig. 5 light bulbs bulbs were blown or missing No hangers No oven baking pans except muffin pans TV in bedroom didn’t work. Called cable company said no signal to cable box so no resolve. Grill dirty and no usable cleaning tools Bathroom towel bar broken Toilet seat was loose and bolts were dirty. Toilet would flush intermittently (needs new flapper) Night stand tables were stained and dirty. Front door lock failed and had to call to get recoded. Microwave handle was broken Missing hand towels in sets Dartboard - dart tips damaged

The cabin has a nice, large bedroom and a decent bathroom. The pool table is nice and of a good quality. However, the entry porch was filthy, no attempt had been made to clean it. The hot tub (on the same porch) was so full of chlorine that you couldn't even sit on the porch with the cover off, much less with the jets going, because of the fumes from it. The steps to the upstairs where the pool table is are steep and narrow. It is a spiral staircase and not easy to navigate, especially if you are over 25 or have any knee or back issues. The front deck is fully exposed to the sun and was much to hot to enjoy sitting there, the view was mostly of other cabins in any case. The gas grill, which actually looked almost new, was very dirty and had not been cleaned at all by the previous user and the cleaning crew had not touched it. The trash bins had not been emptied either and I had to jam our 1 bag of trash into the cage beside the 2 overfull trashcans. We called management about the issues and were told "we will reach out to out cleaners and see if we can get this addressed". Of course no one came to do anything about any of the issues, so I wonder if it was even made a note of. Had a quite nice dining table with bench seats. The seats however were so roughly finished that you better not wear anything the least bit delicate to sit there as it would likely snag and pull out threads. The lighting for the pool table was also very inadequate, could barely see one end of the table. There was no light what so ever for the shower. When you pulled the curtain closed, it became almost too dark to see what you were doing. No shades on the very large windows in the vaulted bedroom ceiling, so no sleeping in! Full sun first thing in the morning and it was a bit warm..... a lot of fairly minor issues, but put all of that together and it was a pretty unsatisfactory stay over all.

We stayed here for a wedding where most other people from the wedding were staying. Overall, it worked, but the cabin could use more of a deep clean, the cable doesn’t work. We didn’t watch tv the entire time, which was unfortunate for my husband, who had a lot of time to kill while I was out doing things for the wedding. We also were under the impression there was a working hot tub, but that too had an error code and didn’t heat up.

This place was beautiful. The driveway was very steep and there isn’t much room at the top to turn around since you share with the other cabin. The shower head could use an upgrade and some privacy to the hottub but other than that the view was amazing! Will be staying again!

Very clean, comfortable. The view is great. Awesome cabin. Nice neighborhood. This cabin has only 2 negatives- the very steep tight driveway and lack of privacy for hot tub. Otherwise it is perfect.

Property was very nice, driveway is not the greatest. Had a few minor issues but those were addressed within a couple days. Would stay here again.

Great little place, on a very steep hill for access. Shower head needs to be replaced because it sprays out and not centered. Check for lady bugs and stink bugs. Wife got woken up twice on the recliner. All in all great place to relax and vacation.

We had a great "babymoon" at Moonlight Retreat, spending a lot of time just relaxing in this cabin. The two-sided fireplace is great. The bed is comfortable and there are plenty of places to sit and relax. I recommend this cabin for any couple looking to get away. As others have said, the driveway is STEEP, but totally do-able in any vehicle. We also drove right by it the first time. The directions they give you are good. Just pay attention. It would be nice to have some hangers in the closet, but that was a small thing.
