Girls Geataway

The listing was accurate and location was great. Only 10 minutes to downtown. The lock on the door wasn’t working correctly. You had to enter the code several times to unlock it. I believe the batteries needed changed. The shower curtain was dirty and needed to be replaced. There was only 1 coffee pod for the Keurig. We didn’t cook and mostly eat out every meal. It needs to have some more pots and pans if you wanted to cook a meal.

Not as discribed / expected

The room was clean but not kept up. There were a lot of marks, dents and damage to the walls and floorboards. All of the furniture had stains, the microwave was damaged but worked and dishwasher didn’t work at all. The front door needs to be replaced, we could see light and feel the cold air from the outside, we had to put a towel in the door to block the cold air. The curtains on the patio door were sheer and provided no privacy, The bedroom TV screen was scratched so badly that it was hard to see the picture. Both TVs had lots of hanging cords that would be unsafe if you have small children. The bedroom hot tub is only a small jacuzzi tub that barely fit my 5’4” wife; two people will never fit. The building and elevator need some TLC as well, but I understand that’s something the renter can’t fix.Great location, just down the road from DollyWood and easy access to Gatlinburg and easy access to the backroads of Pigeon Forge so you can avoid the traffic on the main drag.This property is managed and maintained by VACASA. They responded to my emails very fast, usually within an hour or two and sent a repair worker the following morning to address some of the issues that we reported when we arrived.Not going back.

Good Place to Stay

We were pleased with the condo. Was clean with no funky smells and convenient to all we wanted to do / see. Could use some extra lighting in the living / dining area (maybe a floor lamp for the corner); only one table lamp (which needs replacing) in living / dining area. Would be nice if hand soap and liquid dish detergent were supplied. Plugs in bedroom need to be replaced; our charging cords kept falling out. Bed was extra soft but we slept fine and maybe a light blanket for nights when you need a little extra but not a full on comforter. We would stay again.

Not what I expected

The jacuzzi tub was one of the selling points for me with this because my kids like hot tubs. The cold water would hardly come out so the water was scalding. I called the number left on the paper and nobody could help me the first night and we had to run cold water into pots to pour into the jacuzzi for our kids to be able to use it. It did not get fixed until the afternoon of our 2nd day and we only stayed for 2 nights. The cold water line was kinked. It is listed that they have a king bed and a queen bed but its a pull out sofa or a blow up mattress and we had no extra linens not even a pillow case for the pillows in the closet. My husband slept on the couch with a blanket we found in a tote in the closet. We have small kids so they slept in the bed with me. We put 4 guests on the stay and we were given only 3 towels total and 3 wash cloths. My husband used a hand towel to dry off with. I had to wash towels just to have enough to use for the 2nd night where my husband had to used a hand towels both times.. I would not recommend this condo and I will not be staying again.

Perfect location

We loved staying in this condo! It was the perfect central location to all the things we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, easy to get to, clean and comfortable. The perfect home away from home!

Vacation

Good location 7 minutes from Dollywood. Cute and comfortable condo loved the fireplace and 4th floor sunset view on the front side NOT the balcony. King size bed was very comfortable. Elevator was a little annoying. In need of maintenance repairs in the condo. Kitchen utensils limited. Keurig coffee pot there on a completely empty shelf along with completely empty baskets . Dining room chairs and sofa stained badly! Overall we had a great vacation.

Nice Place

The rental was nice and clean. It was in a convenient location. The only negative thing about this place was parking. There's not enough parking to park close sometimes. We would definitely stay here again.

Poor upkeep !! 11-11 /11-14-2022

This condo is in such a bad bad need of some TLC!!!!! I have never stayed in a condo that was so needy. The people in the unit above us were also VERY LOUD with a child running the whole time we were there. EVERYTHING need to be fixed !!! The ONLY LIGHT in the living room would not turn off you had to unplug it ,the plug on the other side of the couch would not work. The light over the sink in the kitchen only one side of it worked . Closet door no knob to open or close and did not have a track for the closet door no hooks to hang anything on wires were hanging everywhere Mattress on the bed was a BIG NIGHTMARE!!!!!! With so called night tables lights one ripped off the wall while the other one is barely hanging on ... Spiderwebs on the light over the bed and hanging over the doorway and a gap under the door entering the condo a full inch thick. NOPE NOT HERE ANYMORE I myself think this one would have to pass an inspection before it could be rented again... Need new houskeepers !!!!! LOTS OF WORK TO BE DONE HERE!!!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED !!! D Arnold

NOTHING like the pictures

Unfortunately this was the most rundown place we have stayed at. The pictures are not accurate. Upon entering, the floor tiles (sticky back) are not adhered to the floor at all, they constantly crack and pop. In the bedroom the lamp was broken, all but two bulbs in the light fixture were blown, the closet bifold door is broken, the trim around the tub was coming off and long nails were exposed which would catch your leg or pants, the bathroom door from the bedroom was hard to shut. In the hallway the light fixture had broken from the bracket and is falling from the ceiling. In the bathroom the toilet seat was very loose and it could use another towel bar and towel hooks. The exhaust fan looked as if it had never been washed/wiped down. The sheetrock is peeling in the shower ceiling due to poor exhaust fan CFM, not big enough to pull adequate moisture from the bathroom. The sticky tile had a huge buckle in front of the washer and dryer that was a major trip hazard, we had to place a rug over it to remind us to step over to avoid tripping. Both tv’s were very hard to hear and even turning the volume up made it very unclear, and the picture quality was horrible. The living room only had one small lamp and with the eating table being majority in the living room we couldn’t see to eat at the table. The outside balcony does not have the view shown in pictures…the view is of the side of another building. The outside balcony was covered in mold as was the door. The outside rug got kicked up by accident and looks as though it has never been swept under! The air conditioning wouldn’t cool at all. It was very hot and uncomfortable at night. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone, please read the reviews fully as the pictures and description is not at all accurate. We paid over $900 for three nights and are HIGHLY DISSATISFIED.

False Advertising

First, we were expecting a separate unit/cabin and arrived to find a glorified motel room. The bed was so miserable that I spent my last two nights there on the couch and my husband slept on the floor. And speaking of the floor, it was so warped in the hallway, we had to constantly be careful not to trip. There was minimal cleaning supplies provided, including only the garbage bag that was already in the garbage can. This was our honeymoon and I have to say, we were very disappointed in the room, it was definitely not worth over $900 for 5 nights. The actual Golf View Resort seemed like a very nice place and in a great location...but we were mislead and very disappointed 😞

Unit 2404 wasn't great..

The washer didn't work, I found a sock under the chair, and the floors were so dirty we were having to wipe our feet constantly. Would maybe stay in a different unit next time, but definitely not the same one.

Quick Get Away

The pictures were misleading. I found the property in need of repairs. I couldn’t use the washing machine due to the knobs being broken. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch because the handle was broke. Upon opening the closet door it wouldn’t close because it was broken. The bathroom floor mats were dirty and upon entry to the condo the flooring was coming lose. As others have stated the mattress was very uncomfortable. I will not be recommending this property to others.

Very easy to book and get into the property looked a lot more updated in pics which it was still nice but I almost tripped and fell in hallway as the flooring is bucked and loose in a couple of places and the bed is very uncomfortable

Photos are misleading

The photos and price of this property suggest it is a nicer place to stay. This was by far one of the worst experiences staying at a vrbo rental. There was no hot water until late in the day the second day we were there. The people that answer the call are very nice but they are not the local managers. They couldn't really do much to help. The local manager was supposed to call us first thing that morning and didn't call until after the issue was fixed way into the day. The bed was very hard. It looks nice in the photos but it was horrible. Overall, I would never stay at this condo again and can not recommend anyone else to.

Nice property could be cleaner

Property was as listed but could be cleaner! There was stray hair everywhere and the TV in the bedroom wasn’t in working order this is my second stay at the golf view and the second time the bed room tv didn’t work

Nice and convinient

Nice condo in good location, close to attractions. Clean, comfortable for 2 people. King size bed with a firm mattress. Kitchen equipped with basic kitchenware, enough to prepare quick and easy meals. Shared pool, a little crowded. No assigned parking spot but panty of parking space. Quick response from management to timely resolve issues

Good place, needs some small improvements

Overall the place was clean and comfortable. A few things that need to be addressed are: 1. No hot water from kitchen sink 2. Tub in bedroom takes forever to fill. 3. Fireplace didn’t work Other than those small things it’s a great place.
