From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. The property is immaculately maintained and offers a perfect balance of luxury and authenticity. We stayed in a spacious villa that offered both comfort and charm—an ideal setting for relaxation. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. One of the highlights was the food. The pizza was some of the best we've ever had, and the overall dining experience was fantastic, especially when paired with Il Borro’s impressive selection of wines. The wine tour was both informative and enjoyable, giving us a deeper appreciation for the estate’s rich winemaking heritage. The spa experience was another standout—peaceful, professional, and just what we needed to unwind. Every aspect of our stay felt carefully curated and indulgent. We’re already planning to return, hopefully for a longer stay next time. Il Borro is a true gem in the heart of Tuscany, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious escape. "Staying at Borghetto Calcinaia was a literal dream. We were a party of 12 (10 adults, 2 small children) celebrating my 50th birthday. From the initial booking, Dale was so helpful and super quick to respond with an incredible amount of information. Ben was also very helpful and responsive at the property. The property itself was more than anticipated and was simply perfect. There was everything there we could ever have possibly needed. We were also very fortunate to have Dale's recommended private chef Monica come and prepare some of the most tastiest local food for a special meal for us one night. Along with pairing local wines to accompany her food. 7 days was just not long enough. We made a lot of amazing memories as a family that will never be forgotten.Thank you for one of the best holidays in the most beautiful parts of Italy we have ever been to."
