Discover authentic inland Sicily from a peaceful private home near Pietraperzia, in the province of Enna. Surrounded by one hectare of private, fully fenced grounds, Donna Caterina House welcomes couples, families and small groups of up to five guests who value privacy, nature and slow living.

THE HOUSE
The independent 90 m² home and all its outdoor areas are reserved exclusively for your group. It offers two double bedrooms, one single bedroom, two renovated bathrooms with showers and bidets, a bright living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The two double bedrooms are air-conditioned; every bedroom has a ceiling fan. A cot is available on request at no extra charge. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, hairdryers, washing machine, dishwasher and private gated parking are included.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Furnished verandas, a pergola, Mediterranean plants, mature olive trees, a hammock, an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and table-tennis table create inviting spaces for breakfast, reading and relaxed evenings under the Sicilian sky.

PRIVATE WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB
The outdoor wooden hot tub is for guests’ exclusive use and is included in the stay. It is a traditional wood-fired soaking tub, not a swimming pool. Guests heat the water with the integrated stove and the firewood provided free of charge. Heating usually takes about 45 minutes, depending on the weather and starting water temperature. Clear instructions are provided at the house.

A SICILIAN FAMILY STORY
Renovated in 2026, the house combines contemporary comfort with family furniture, local ceramics and objects connected to its history. The large octagonal stone fountain in the garden was designed by Lucia’s father as a gesture of love for his wife Caterina, after whom the house is named.

EXPLORE CENTRAL SICILY BY CAR
The house is approximately 3 km from Pietraperzia and is a peaceful base for visiting Piazza Armerina, Villa Romana del Casale, Caltagirone, Enna, Agrigento and other historic towns and archaeological sites. A private or rented vehicle is essential: there is no local public transport between Pietraperzia and the property. Before arrival, guests receive the location pin and clear access instructions.

Lucia is available through the booking platform and by telephone for practical questions and local recommendations whenever reasonably possible. Technical interventions depend on the availability of qualified local professionals. Guest privacy is always respected.
