"The property is extremely nice. It was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed sitting in the Hot Tub in evenings and early mornings watching the whales migrating south. We will be returning soon, before winter hits. "

"This was our first trip to Shelter Cove, and part of a trip up the Northern Lost Coast. The unit was clean and we loved having our own private hot tub. We used the tub a few times daily. They even left robes! With the views, and sounds of the ocean it felt like a spa treatment at a fine resort! We enjoyed sunrise and sunset from the tub. "This is a beautiful property near the Avenue of the Giants. The king plus bunk bed room was enormous. The style is like an early 1900's mansion/castle, the room decor matched, but it didn't feel at all run down or aged. The bed was very comfortable. It had a bunk bed in a separate room for my two kids. The grounds are just as amazing as the hotel. You can walk around and check out the river. We are a great breakfast on the huge back patio. Overall it was a magical last minute find during our road trip."
