"I LOVED this hotel once I moved to the 2nd floor.. Definitely worth the upgrade! The room, space, views, accommodations, and location to everything is great… however, that particular few blocks is kind of dark and secluded at night and there’s not really any type of access to a swimming beach from the hotel.. it’s about about a 4 minute walk to a nice beach..but I would definitely come back here! Staff was great! Gracias Alfredo! "

"Very disappointing beach experience. The beach was completely covered with massive piles of seaweed, making it unusable, and the smell was unbearable. Most people travel to the Caribbean for the beach, so this was a huge letdown. The hotel should have notified guests in advance about these conditions so travelers could plan accordingly."

"The hotel room was clean and spacious, the rooftop pool was lovely and it's in the perfect location to explore playa del Carmen without the noise from 5th ave. The staff were also incredibly friendly, we had a great experience with Cecilia and all the team. The breakfast was fairly limited, but considering it's included in the price, it was very good value."
