Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites

"The Don Valley Hotel and Suites is an older hotel that is in need of some refurbishing. The furniture is nicked and the wallpaper is peeling in spots. However, having said that it is excellent value for money. Room was basic but clean and comfortable and had a bar fridge for storing your drinks. Breakfast buffet was basic but was reasonably priced ($15 for the first person, $10 for the second) compared to the cost of breakfast at other hotels we've stayed at. It is very close (2-3 minute walk) to the train and bus stops to downtown so conveniently located. Only downside is that, if you don't want to eat in the hotel restaurant or Tim Hortons, you have to drive to a restaurant for dinner."

"The Hotel Riu was perfect for our needs in Toronto. We went for TIFF & some Jays games & it was so nice to have a hotel a short walk away from everything we were doing. We booked well in advance & got an extremely reasonable rate for a new hotel in a perfect location. The staff are super helpful & friendly & the free breakfast is fantastic. Good food with lots of options & again, very friendly & helpful staff. Even though the hotel was full, we never had to wait more than a few minutes. Rooms are a bit small-ish but clean & with a small fridge."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was absolutely amazing and always helpful, and our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The only drawback was the parking; there were limited spots on-site, but I found some nearby that we could walk to."

"It was al superb. All of the staff were professional and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family. The only thing I was unhappy about was the daily charge for parking. I believe this should be included for guests staying at the hotel. I was there for 4 nights so would have paid over $200 for parking"

"The hotel is great for its location. We arrived at Union Station and it was a 15 minute walk. Walking to the CN Tower, Roger’s Stadium, the St Lawrence Market as well as other places of interest was easy and convenient. The check in was pleasant with helpful and friendly service. The hotel room itself was nice but quite small. The lobby area with the bar is quite lovely and inviting. It was an enjoyable stay."
