"Started our stay off with a very warm and friendly reception from Govi and his mother, they were very accommodating during our time in Napoli . The room is a quiet oasis complete with a large walk in shower and small balcony. The location is easily walkable from the Metro and close to the historic old town , so it was very easy to explore the city. I Would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Napoli."

"We had a great stay here for a week in March. Location was perfect, very convenient for the metro station with the archaeology museum just round the corner. Plenty of great bars and restaurants a short walk away too. Our host was friendly and welcoming, and a lovely lady. Would highly recommend a stay here, we found it was an ideal base for our stay in Naples. "

While the rooms themselves are lovely, the biggest perk of La Gemma is the owner, who went above and beyond to give us a good experience. She was a wealth of information in terms of navigating the city, and she bakes home made cakes for breakfast. She even went as far to pack us a bag of breakfast for our early train. "

"Le quartier est sale, mais on ne se sent pas en insécurité même le soir , en revanche il est situé juste à côté de 2 stations métro ce qui est pratique , notamment pour visiter pompei. A 5/10 min de marches on trouve pas mal de restaurants et bars très sympathiques ( du côté de la Galleria Principe di Napoli) , le petit déjeuné est tres moyen mais a le mérite d'exister, bien que servi en grande majorité dans de la vaisselle jetable - mais ça semble être commun a beaucoup d'établissement a Naples...
