Unfortunately the room was pretty tired and bathroom needed a good overall. Old marked shower enclosure. Crumbling walls round the shower unit. Shower coming away from wall and mould round taps. "There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bathrooms seem well maintained. Best reason to go though is the outstanding dinner and wine from the owners vineyard. Overall a nice experience."

"We loved this apartment. Vanessa and her brother operate a hotel and multiple apartments in Piazza Armerina. Our apartment was fantastic. It is very centrally located and had it’s own reserved parking spot right outside the door. Two bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a large bedroom. For the 3 in our party, it was the most spacious spot we stayed during 2 weeks in Sicily. Vanessa was extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants - which were fantastic.
