Taco 'bout awesome! This 3-bedroom 2-bath guest house has everything you might need for a lovely stay, plus A LOT of personality! The décor is unique and (dare we say?) spec-TACO-lar. The taco theme and bright colors throughout will put you in the mood to enjoy the Southwest to its fullest. You'll also love the comfortable beds, well-supplied kitchen, smart TVs, outdoor space, and location in the heart of Phoenix's emerging art scene. It's a great home base as you explore what Arizona has to offer!
The first thing you'll notice about the guest house is its bright orange door with an easy-to-use keyless entry. Of course, the great location in the Garfield art district of central Phoenix is hard to miss as well.
Once you open the door, you'll enter the main living space. To the left, there's a living room with a sofa, chair, smart TV, and original taco-themed artwork. The kitchen is situated to the right. With a full-size refrigerator, stove, and microwave, along with all of the utensils, pots, and pans to cook up some tasty meals, you'll always have the option to dine in or enjoy the many wonderful restaurants nearby. The kitchen also includes a Keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle, toaster, and blender. There's a built-in table with four stools that's perfect for a shared meal or a work space. With the super fast WiFi, you can also keep up with work demands or plan your sightseeing adventures.
The bathrooms are supplied with all of the necessary amenities (soap, shampoo, conditioner, fluffy towels, a hairdryer, etc.).
There are three bedrooms to accommodate your group. The two queen beds with Tuft & Needle mattresses tempt you with afternoon siestas and make sweet dreams almost a guarantee. The third bedroom features a bunk bed with a twin mattress on top and a full-sized futon below. It also boasts a second smart TV as well as games and books to keep everyone entertained. There are closets with shelving and clothes racks in each bedroom. All three bedrooms come with additional seating, and one even has a small desk for another workspace.
Also, TACOS!! The taco theme we've adopted means that you won't be staring at the same old generic paintings you'll find in hotel rooms. We've incorporated some colorful taco-inspired design throughout. The artwork, including some original pieces created by Mike or Jackie, is fun and mouthwatering. We've included recommendations for all of our favorite taco restaurants as well as taco holders and margarita glasses in case you want to have your own taco Tuesday.
Outside, you have access to a private front lawn with Adirondack style chairs and a back courtyard (shared with other guests) with a foosball table, colorful murals, and more to enhance your outdoor experience.
Finally, all guests will have access to a washer and dryer conveniently located on the side of the house.
We hope you choose to stay at our spec-TACO-lar guest house!
