"I absolutely loved staying at Pensione Palazzo Ravizza hotel. From the moment we arrived, the Front of House staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Our room was huge, the decoration was stunning and the cleanliness was first class. We could walk into the busy main piazza and the quieter side streets very easily. It’s not in the main piazza, so has a peacefulness to it. The view from the garden is something I’ll remember for a long time, perfect!"

"Staying at this old monastery is such a uniquely different guest experience! Surrounded by fantastic old architecture and history, in a quiet location, with beautiful courtyards, Italian garden and an ornately decorated old church. Staff was friendly. Dine in the courtyard which is in a romantic setting, whereas the restaurant lacks ambiance. Amazing breakfast options, dining on patio overlooking the Italian garden. The room was small, but we were happy to get a queen bed."

"Alma Domus is a jewel of a hotel in a jewel of a city. The rooms are simple,, comfortable, and ours, at least, had a spectacular view. It's located in a quiet part of Siena but easily walkable to all the sites. There's quite a good restaurant, just a few yards away. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast we had there was great. This has become my go-to hotel anytime I'm in Siena."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Athena, which had been recommended by a friend. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the Tuscan countryside. Great shower and nice bed. The staff we met were all extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a huge spread, with enough variety to satisfy everyone. Visitors to Siena should know that it is a very hilly town. The center is quite close to the hotel, but it's an uphill walk. Not too steep, but it will keep you in shape. Most hotels in town will have the same issue. It's so beautiful that it's well worth it. After a day of walking the town, it's a lovely downhill walk to the hotel."
