Within walking distance of all the attractions of the city, the old kitchens of the palace has been converted into an elegant and cozy guest house equipped with every comfort and with a multitude of small fascinating corners.

Beautiful Tuscan Stay!

Centrally located. One hour from all the great Tuscan towns, absolutely beautiful apartment and grounds! This is our second time here and we have loved it both times! Hope to return again!

Amazing

We were in awe! So beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. Best sleep ever on vacation. Stefano is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. Great recommendations and knowledge of area made our visit even more special. Location is walking distance to the Grande Piazza, restaurants, groceries and a lovely bakery right across the street. His dog, Spritz will steal your heart. I could go on and on…..see other reviews, you will not be disappointed. We did not want to leave! I highly recommend Stefano’s home for your stay in Arezzo.

Quiet and restful

Arezzo is a quiet town and excellent location to tour around Tuscany. The old town and sites are beautiful. It is easy to walk around and the apartments are well located to stores. The kitchen and baths are beautifully appointed. Stefano the host and owner took great care in restoration of this Renaissance palazzo. The apartment is on the main floor. And there is a beautiful one on the floor above - piano mobile. There is a beautiful private garden as well.

Wonderful

My wife and I, and my sister and her husband spent the entire month of September in this apartment. The only way to discribe this experience is wonderful. The apartment was wonderful, the location was wonderful and Stefano was wonderful. I could write and tell you all kinds of great details, but I think you just need to discover them for yourself and then you could also describe it as wonderful. Best VRBO experience I have ever had. Our first two weeks in Arezzo and certainly this property exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal and special thanks to our host Stefano who welcomed us with open arms. He is a gracious host and an excellent instructor in making homemade pasta. He was most helpful suggesting sites to visit and excellent dining recommendations at every turn. We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful palazzo in Arezzo. When we stepped through the door we felt as though we had been transported back in time. Its proximity to the beautiful city was perfect. Stefano was so kind and our kids loved the periodic with the cute puppy Spritz. We can’t wait to plan another visit back!

Fabulous Place!

I can’t say enough good things about this home! The old mixed with modern is stunning. Stefano is an incredible host. He helped us plan a winery tour and advised us on things to do, we cooked, he started the fire for us when we wanted one, he even offered to come pick us up an hour away when we had car issues. If we’re ever in the Tuscany region again, this is where we will stay.

This place is the coolest

Stefano has done an amazing job remodeling this place. An ancient Counts residence that is now an amazing apartment. The old style charm remains but updated with modern conveniences. Stefano is a fabulous host and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Don't miss out on this place!!

We could have spent our whole time just enjoying the apartment but there's plenty to do outside as well. Close to many points of interest and walking is easy. Cute little bakery across the street. We took advantage of the local wine options they had available and only wish we'd had more time in this beautiful area. I will recommend this place to anyone traveling to Arezzo.

Lovely & Comfortable Home-Away-From-Home In Tuscany

For my wife and I, our visit to Tuscany was greatly enhanced by our stay in this beautifully renovated apartment by its owner, Stefano. It really was amazing, with no detail overlooked, to bring out the old-world charm with all the comforts of home! We enjoyed the fireplace, the pastry shop across the street, as well as the entire town of Arezzo! By far, this has been our most comfortable rental from Homeaway, and we enjoyed spending some days just relaxing there!

THE JEWEL OF TUSCANY

This absolute jewel of a property is both a delight to stay in and behold. The perfect house in a perfect location

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful house and its host Stefano. The 3 bedroom 2 bath house was perfect for my family of 5. As soon as we walked in, my kids eyes lit up with amazement. This 500 year old house was a dream come true. The location is in the old town of Arezzo which is a perfect location for day trips around Toscana. Everywhere you want to visit is 1 hour drive or less. Stefano was the perfect host and helped us with wine tour reservations and gave my family a private cooking lesson that was so much fun..and delizioso! If you are looking for the perfect home away from home in the heart of Toscana, this is it.

Best place and host

This was the best experience we’ve had with a VRBO rental. Stefan was our personal chef and was making an amazing dinner for us when we arrived, after a long day of travel. It was truly an amazing culinary experience. His attention to detail was on full display- every part of the guest home was carefully thought through and designed. We can’t recommend the place enough!

Stefano our host, tour guide and chef went above and beyond to make our stay in Arezzo amazing. His attention to detail and beauty in the apartment made it the perfect place for our Tuscany experience. Would definitely recommend any of his tours but especially the Tuscany and wine tour. His love for Italy and history makes it informative but fun.

Fairytale Getaway in Arezzo!

Where to begin? For starters this property is even more beautiful in person than in the incredible photos shown here. It is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. Many people had left helpful cooking ingredients. The location is perfect. We were right across the street from a multi-generational, family owned & operated pastry/coffee shop. The women who run it are lovely, and the food/coffee was so yummy we went there every day of our weeklong stay. We easily walked to delicious restaurants, a park with an incredible view, the Piazza Grande, and tons of great shops! (If you are shopping for leather goods, La Bottega del Cuoio should not be missed!) We cannot say enough good things about Stefano, the guest house’s host. Not only did he drive us to and from the train station, but he also took us grocery shopping. Stefano is kind, fun and very helpful. He even offers very reasonably priced guided day trips and can teach you how to cook as an Italian. He is a host with many talents! We highly recommend Stefano’s beautiful guest house! So much so, we will come back and rent it again!
