"Overall this was a decent place. The host would do well to provide more personal information regarding local sights to not miss, food spots for various cuisines, and tips to enhance the stay - like be sure to keep coolers inside to avoid visits from racoons. Also would have been nice to have a guest book that wasn't filled up. The location was close to Pentwater and Ludington which was great. All in all - a really nice place to stay!"

"Perfect location, close to Mears State Park, shopping and dining. Easy to navigate check in, and host was very communicative. Everything you need was provided. Dishes, towels etc. The only downside for us, was the mattress in what would be the master. It was quite uncomfortable. Keep in mind, we are older, so it may not be a problem for younger folk under 60. Great experience otherwise!"

"This property was a project. I recommend getting a good night sleep before checking in because if you have standards of cleanliness, this house is not for you. Although once you handle all of the housework (with no offer of a partial refund) you can find some enjoyment if you ask them to mow the yard before you get there (which we did). It does have an open floor plan and sleeps plenty. Nice view and convenient location. We had to have the owner come and get all the trash that was piled and...

"Everything is wonderful about this place. It's a large and beautiful and super-well appointed house in a great location. The host is friendly, very helpful and responds quickly. Plenty of things to do both at home and in the area. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Highly recommended!"

Pros: - Enjoyed upstairs screened in porch for experiencing the outdoors without the rain or bugs. - Nice view of the lake - Very spacious interior to lounge - Kitchen was stocked well with utensils for easy food prep. Cons: - No response from our rental property representative when called with a problem we faced during our stay. - Driveway / bottom step of property stairs was not level and extremely hazardous - no warning signs posted of this...
