We could bike anywhere we wanted from this property-to mountain bike trails, to Ludington State Park and beaches, to downtown and to Buttersville Peninsula. We also liked that it was at the beginning of the historical homes walking route. The beds were very comfortable and the surrounding gardens, koi pond and library were a nice feature.

We had a King Suite and it was like having our own apartment. So cute comfy and cozy. Breakfast was great each morning. Staff was so attentive.Easy walk to downtown. Outside property was beautiful. Loved our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a thoughtfully renovated classic motel. Breakfast was very good, out performing other hotels on our journey. Only problem was the noisy air conditioning unit.

I've stayed here many times, and I keep going back. Clean rooms, great breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff. I feel very much at home here. And, if you're taking the ferry to Wisconsin, it's close and breakfast is served early enough to accommodate travelers leaving that early.

We are so very impressed with Summer's End Inn. It is a very short walk from downtown Ludington. We had a picnic dinner and played games in the garden. The sound of the water flowing into the coy pond was so relaxing.

It's a excellent place for adults as we have stayed here multiple times and will again. My only complaint is that the pillows in our room were hard and flat. We'll bring our own next time just in case.

It maybe an older motel but our room has been updated and very nice and clean. The bathroom has not been updated however I enjoy the nostalgia of the past. It was clean and very well maintained

The secret garden with the koi pond was nice and the breakfast was great. Unfortunately the window treatments did NOTHING to block out the light from the parking lot nor the headlights.

I have been here 3 yrs in a row. The property is adult only with NO pets. Must be working, it was filled the 4 nights I was there. The staff is top notch. The koi pond is pure relaxation.

Unique property in a quiet area near the hustle and bustle of downtown Ludington. There was a hidden garden with a pond and deck for sitting and enjoying the evening and morning coffee. Breakfast (ordered the night before) had a reserved time (which was a bit odd) , but it made it more intimate and allowed the service to be more attentive. We would absolutely return!

Summer's Inn is a beautiful motor lodge. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay complete. The coi pond was right behind our room and beckoned you to come and relax. The room was spacious and modern. Though the bathroom was a bit small and dated, it was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend Summer's Inn to any friends or family passing through Ludington.
