Check in was good. Although couldn’t book us in any earlier & we were attending an event which was a shame. But no huge issue.

Bathroom lovely.
We stayed in Sariska room which is on the front of the building. Being a Saturday night stay - it was a tad noisey & nothing to do with the hotel. But some car with a loud exhaust drive up & down quite a lot during the early night.
We closed the windows to block it out but then as we’ve had this hot weather the room...
"Room carpet was dirty. Bathroom smelled like pee and it looked gross, too, plus door knobs were degraded. There was no DND sign for the door. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, and awful for people with dietary restrictions. They made me scrambled eggs without milk as requested, but it was inedible due to being undercooked. Who likes stringy (like snot) egg whites in scrambled eggs? Emailed for support, didn't reply. Tried talking to them, they didn't care."
"We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again!"
