"Nice accommodation in a quiet location"

"Loved comfortable, warm lodge in ideal location "

"It was amazing. Great place, really wonderful. Hopefully be back again soon! "

"A really well maintained property, a lovely welcome bottle on arrival was a nice treat ! Nice and secluded, a short journey to the lakes, very enjoyable "

"Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. This gave the room a tired and poorly maintained appearance and certainly detracted from the overall experience. Another disappointment was the lack...

"Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark."

"The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was...

"كانت إقامة جميلة والفندق كلاسيكي نظيف ومريح والموظفين خدومين ولطفاء. اعجبني الفندق والمنطقة المحيطة الذي لم يعجبني فقط ان الماء الحار والبارد كل صنبور على حدة بحيث ان احدهما شديد الحرارة والآخر شديد البرودة يعني أمامك خيارين عند الاستخدام اما ان تحترق أو تتجمد "

"Very clean and tidy place with friendly staff."

"We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there"

"I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...
