"Breakfast was very expensive but there was no option to have something light like coffee and a muffin. The hallway needed to be vacuumed the entire time we were there, for the price I would think clean floors would be the minimum. The staff was very friendly."

"The room was decorated nicely, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is downtown so very convenient to walk to stores, restaurants and the wharf. A very nice place to stay!"

"Place is a bit dingy - stale smell in halls (but, hey, it's an old historic hotel). Price a bit high for quality - friend's air conditioner held up by wooden boards. Lots of raucous drinking in bar below (but not rowdy or unpleasant). However, right downtown - next to fabulous restaurants - and possibly the friendliest, kindest staff we've ever encountered."
