"It is a historic hotel on the continental divide. It has a lot of history and is convenient to downtown Blowing Rock and other activities in the area. The breakfast were very good. The hotel needs some renovation and the hot water for the room took a while to warm up. "

"This hotel was a wonderful unexpected find in the heart of Blowing Rock, NC. The rooms and overall hotel have been recently remodeled in a splendid comfortable modern decor. The staff was friendly and helpful, and a full breakfast was an added bonus. The only complaint is the HVAC units inside the rooms is VERY LOUD making it somewhat difficult to sleep at night. Overall a wonderful enjoyable stay."

"Great place to stay! Very hip. Love the bar, games, and pool table. Room was comfortable, however if you stay on the lower front side be aware that noise from the fire pit out front filters into the room. Even with the sound machine on could still hear the larger group carrying on late at night. Around 1 AM, I did call the front desk and they were kind enough to quiet the group. Other than the noise, the stay was great! Will definitely return, but will stay either higher up or on the back side. "

"Despite proximity to a variety of outdoor explorations, this cabin’s super power is the escape within. The feel of a large wooded estate shrunken to a small cabin on a 1/2 acre (only a guess) lot. Beautiful and varied landscape to meander and rest that is within only a few steps. Even the gentle, never seen, sounds of a large housing neighborhood seem to fade into the relaxation and reflection. Highly recommend.
