"This lake cottage was just as pictured. I could have spent the week on the front porch rocker. We watched the sunset over the harbor every night. Perfect wind down for the day. There is so much to do within a relatively short drive. Boyne City downtown is just a short walk. This place was totally worth the trip from the West Coast."

"My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, immaculately clean and comfortable cottage. Beds were comfy and house well-appointed. More spacious than photos make it appear. Location could not have been better. Loved the option of walking to the water for dinner and a gorgeous sunset. Great communication with hosts. Highly recommend - would love to return!"

"This is a wonderfully updated home with lots of attention to detail. We had ten people and we were all very comfortable. The beds have very nice mattresses and the sheets are soft and cozy. We could walk to the beach or to downtown Boyne City. My in laws (81&86 yrs young) even walked to the Avalanche Lookout park and climbed all 462 steps!It’s one of the nicest rentals we have ever booked. Thank you for helping make great memories for our family!"

"We have stayed here twice and love this special home. It is on a quiet street, minutes from the restaurants, a park and the lake. Easy central location to get to surrounding cities. The owners have thought of everything you would need. Our family of 6 loved the space in this home. The owners are quick to answer any questions and will accommodate any needs you have. You will be well taken care of and feel at home is a very comfortable home!"

"My husband & I wanted a relaxing spot to stay for our first trip "up north." This property was perfect for us! It's centrally located - within 30 minutes of Petosky, Charlevoix, Boyne Mountain - in charming Boyne City, that's a fun & welcoming town with a beautiful lake front, shops/restaurants/activities, but fewer crowds. The house itself is as pictured - no surprises. We appreciated the onsite parking and the privacy fence around the outdoor space. The house was very clean and had a large, well-stocked kitchen, nice-sized bathrooms that were also thoughtfully stocked, and a laundry room. Bedrooms had ample space and storage, and the bed in our room was very comfortable. We initially questioned whether this home would have too much space for just the two of us, but we found that it felt cozy and "just right" during our 8-day stay. I think families will find this house 'lives large,' and would enjoy all the thoughtfully planned spaces, as well. Great place, friendly owners, quiet neighborhood, fun town! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
