"We enjoyed our stay at The 70’s Place. There are a few easy things that could be done to improve the stay. (Shampoo and conditioner, coffee and creamer for the first morning, a little more attention to dirt under chairs etc, and a working VCR)"

"Cabin was well appointed, kitchen had plenty of pots and pans. Great central location, easy to access golf and other activities on the mountain. Beds were comfortable. Downstairs sitting area was an extra bonus. Need to increase bug abatement as the basement had quite a bit of bugs/spiders."

"Phoebe is an excellent hostess! We had an issue with the sliding door and she was very prompt in getting it worked out. The property is beautiful and location is convenient for many activities. We traveled to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and Crystal River (2 hour drive) and Mackinac Island (1 hour drive). Lots of nice lakes and wineries in the area too.Rooms were great. We had a large group of 17. While it did feel a bit tight at times, it was comfortable enough."

"Clean house and rooms. Host was very friendly. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We seen plenty of wildlife, including deer right in the back yard. I can see Boyne mountain right across Deer Lake. The house itself was stunning. Everything was beautifully hand crafted, and there were awesome vintage decorations hidden around the house. Quiet location, private bonfire in the back yard, with a beautiful limestone waterfall trickling nearby, made it very peaceful. We also really enjoyed the private hot tub. We took a hike up the private hiking trail, finding more deer and even spotting a fox! It was a very memorable stay, and we will definitely be back!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this log cabin location and access to Boyne's amenities. Our only issue was waste bins in upstair bathrooms, which is very minor! That is how wonderful the place is, no other issues at all!!"

"AMAZING place, host, and experience. Right from the beginning communication was clear and timely. The host is very responsive and kind. The house was beautiful and clean, perfect for what we needed! Check-in/check-out instructions were clear and simple. Overall, it couldn't have been better or gone smoother, 10/10 recommend this place and this host!"
